Future Smiles is a Melbourne-based lead generation service that connects people with independent, AHPRA-registered dental clinics. We take our advertising responsibilities seriously and are committed to ensuring all of our marketing complies with the relevant laws and guidelines that govern the advertising of regulated health services in Australia.

We design our marketing to comply with:

• The Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (the National Law), in particular section 133, which regulates advertising of regulated health services;
• The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Dental Board of Australia guidelines and advertising resources for regulated health services; and
• The Australian Consumer Law, including the prohibitions on false, misleading or deceptive conduct.

In line with the National Law and the AHPRA / Dental Board guidelines, our advertising and content aim to:

• Avoid false, misleading or deceptive claims. We provide honest, accurate information about what dental treatments may offer, and we do not overstate benefits or create unrealistic expectations.
• Not use testimonials about clinical care. The National Law prohibits using testimonials in advertising regulated health services. Any patient stories or examples on our Website are clearly identified as illustrative examples only — they are not real testimonials and are not based on identifiable patients.
• Not create unreasonable expectations of beneficial treatment. We consistently make clear that results vary, that individual outcomes are not guaranteed, and that not all patients are suitable for treatment.
• Not offer inducements without their terms and conditions. Where we refer to a complimentary assessment or offer, we set out the relevant terms, eligibility and limitations.
• Encourage informed decisions. We make clear that suitability for any treatment can only be determined by a qualified, AHPRA-registered dentist following an in-person examination, and we encourage people to seek appropriate professional advice.

• Results vary. Individual outcomes are not guaranteed.
• Not all patients are suitable for dental implants or other treatments. A qualified, AHPRA-registered dentist will assess individual suitability.
• Future Smiles is a lead generation service. We partner with independent Melbourne dental clinics and do not perform dental treatments.
• The complimentary consultation and assessment offer is subject to eligibility and availability at participating partner clinics.
• Financing options are subject to approval by the relevant provider. Superannuation access for dental treatment is subject to eligibility under applicable superannuation legislation and fund rules.
• Any patient stories or examples are illustrative only and are not testimonials.

We partner exclusively with dental clinics whose practitioners are registered with AHPRA and the Dental Board of Australia. Each partner clinic is independently responsible for its own clinical care, advertising and professional obligations under the National Law.
